Newmills is the current end of the railway, and the train waits here for approximately 10 minutes before returning to Launceston.
For those that enjoy exploring the countryside, there are a number of footpaths around Newmills. Ask in our shop for a leaflet, print off a walk from iWalk Cornwall or use the iWalk Cornwall app!
If you’re feeling hungry, bring a picnic and use our riverside picnic tables whilst waiting for the next train. Or for the more energetic, a hilly walk leads to Tregadillet with the Elliot Arms, a pub renowned locally for its good food.
Adjacent to Newmills station is the popular New Mills Farm Park, and many families use the train to travel to the Farm Park. Please note that the Farm Park is a separate business and their own charges apply (current admission prices available on their website).
